Das Marktumfeld der deutschen Exportwirtschaft im Schatten der Corona-Pandemie

Abstract

Die Corona-Pandemie hat rund um den Globus zu einem starken Konjunktureinbruch geführt. Die Weltwirtschaft wird die stärkste Schrumpfung in den letzten sieben Dekaden erfahren. Für eine exportorientierte Volkswirtschaft wie die deutsche bedeutet dies einen starken Rückgang der internationalen Nachfrage. In diesem Beitrag werden die möglichen Auswirkungen auf ausgewählte Industriebranchen in Deutschland abgeschätzt. Die Exportrisiken sind zuletzt allerdings zurückgegangen. Während Anfang April noch fast die Hälfte der üblichen Exportwerte auf Hochrisikoländer mit starker und zunehmender Corona-Verbreitung entfiel, lag der Anteil in der ersten Junihälfte bei nur noch 13 Prozent. Gleichwohl führen die starken wirtschaftlichen Verwerfungen in vielen Ländern zu einem Rückgang der Handelsvolumina. Gut die Hälfte der Exportmärkte der Industrie wird im laufenden Jahr um mindestens 6 Prozent schrumpfen. Das makroökonomische Marktumfeld der deutschen Exportwirtschaft hat sich infolge der Corona-Pandemie enorm verschlechtert.
