Was erklärt die Kraftstoffpreisentwicklung?

Abstract

Der Preis für Rohöl hat sich seit der Jahrtausendwende erheblich erhöht. Für Deutschland wurde der Preisanstieg durch die Aufwertung des Euro gegenüber dem US-Dollar leicht gedämpft. Aus Sicht der Verbraucher macht sich der Ölpreisanstieg besonders deutlich an den Tankstellen bemerkbar. Die Preiserhöhungen bei Kraftstoffen in den letzten Jahren spiegeln nahezu vollständig den Anstieg der Rohstoffkosten wider. Die steuerliche Belastung von Diesel und Benzin blieb zuletzt unverändert, ist aber für das insgesamt hohe Niveau der Kraftstoffpreise von entscheidender Bedeutung.
