Messung und Trends der intersektoralen Arbeitsteilung

Abstract

Die De-Industrialisierung ist in Deutschland seit Mitte der neunziger Jahre gestoppt. Die Industrie gewinnt vielmehr wieder an Bedeutung im gesamtwirtschaftlichen Branchengefüge. Richtung und Tempo des Strukturwandels können auch mit einer zu- und abnehmenden Intensität der intersektoralen Arbeitsteilung erklärt werden. Das industrielle Outsourcing hat sich jedenfalls auf Basis mehrerer Rechenwerke in den letzten Jahren nicht weiter verstärkt. Nach einer markanten Restrukturierung der Industrieproduktion hin zu mehr Vorleistungen aus dem Dienstleistungssektor und vor allem aus dem Ausland in den neunziger Jahren sind die Vorleistungsquoten in den meisten Industrie- und Servicebereichen seit der Jahrtausendwende konstant geblieben. Im internationalen Vergleich hat die deutsche Industrie einen mittleren Vorleistungsgrad.
