Konjunktur aktuell: Deutsche Wirtschaft noch in der Stagnation

Abstract

Mit dieser Prognose aktualisiert das IWH seinen Jahresausblick für 2003. Angesichts des drohenden Irak-Krieges, der drastisch gestiegenen Ölpreise und der fortgesetzten Euro-Aufwertung wird die Konjunkturprognose für Deutschland leicht zurückgenommen. Das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt steigt im Jahr 2003 um 0,8% und im Jahr 2004 um 2,1%. Der Druck auf die Beschäftigung nimmt infolge der schwachen Konjunktur weiter zu. Die Arbeitslosigkeit wird in 2003 und 2004 die 4-Millionen-Marke deutlich überschreiten.
