Ostdeutsche Bauunternehmen im Schnitt mit schmalen Gewinnen

Abstract

Der Beitrag behandelt die Entwicklung der Kosten- und Ertragslage im Baugewerbe Ost- und Westdeutschlands seit Anfang der 90er Jahre. Im Zuge des Baubooms haben die ostdeutschen Anbieter von Bauleistungen Mitte der neunziger Jahre ihre Lohnstückkosten unter das westdeutsche Niveau senken können. In der zweiten Hälfte der neunziger Jahre gingen die Vorteile bei stark abnehmender Produktivität jedoch wieder verloren. Trotzdem werden im Schnitt Gewinne erwirtschaftet. Die Rendite liegt allerdings in den beiden zuletzt beobachteten Jahren 2001 und 2002 um etwa einen Prozentpunkt unter den westdeutschen Werten.
