Abstract

Die Einführung von Industrie-4.0-Anwendungen ist aufgrund ihrer (potenziellen) Reichweite für die betrieblichen Akteurinnen und Akteure von grundlegenden Unsicherheiten in technischer, arbeitsorganisatorischer und beschäftigungspolitischer Hinsicht gekennzeichnet. Der Beitrag exploriert auf der Grundlage empirischer Fallstudien zur Einführung von digitaler Produktionstechnik in Industriebetrieben die dortigen Handlungs- und Entscheidungsbedingungen. Im Zentrum steht die Frage, wie nach Betriebsverfassungsgesetz mitbestimmungspflichtige Implementierungen von Industrie-4.0- Komponenten prozessiert werden und wie betriebliche Mitbestimmung in diesem Kontext praktiziert wird. Fokussiert werden insbesondere die betriebsinterne Relation von Management und Betriebsräten und die Handlungsmöglichkeiten der betrieblichen Interessenvertretung hinsichtlich konkreter, bereits vollzogener oder aber noch laufender Einführungsprozesse der Industrie 4.0.
