Determinants of labour demand on the basis of enterprises’ opinions in business survey data

Abstract

Prezentowany artykuł ma charakter empiryczny. Przedstawiono w nim analizę czynników kształtujących popyt na pracę na podstawie wyników opinii przedsiębiorstw zawartych we wskaźnikach jakościowych. Stwierdzono, że poziom bieżącej produkcji sprzedanej i zapasy wyrobów gotowych mają zasadniczy wpływ na planowane zatrudnienie pracowników. Jednocześnie analiza w przekroju branżowym pozwoliła zaobserwować dużą różnorodność czynników kształtujących popyt na pracę. Można zatem przypuszczać, że teorie ekonomiczne tłumaczą popyt na pracę na poziomie zagregowanym, natomiast w konkretnych działach mogą występować różnice czynników decydujących o zatrudnieniu, wynikające ze struktury wewnątrz danego rynku.
