Ukraine-Krieg bremst Erholung Mittel-, Ost- und Südosteuropas von der COVID-19-Krise

Abstract

Der rasante Anstieg der Preise für Energie und Lebensmittel hatte in den mittel , ost- und südosteuropäischen Ländern (MOSOEL) eine merkliche Inflationsbeschleunigung zur Folge, die mit einer Mischung aus restriktiver Geld- und expansiver Fiskalpolitik bekämpft wird. Trotz der insgesamt geringen Handelsverflechtung der meisten MOSOEL mit Russland und der Ukraine könnten die Einbußen in manchen Sektoren wie der Automobilindustrie beträchtlich sein. Die für 2022 erwartete Wachstumsverlangsamung in den meisten MOSOEL dürfte vorübergehender Natur sein, bereits 2023 sollte das Wachstum wieder an Schwung gewinnen. Mehrere GUS-Länder und die Ukraine werden 2022 eine Rezession verzeichnen, Russland voraussichtlich auch noch 2023.
