Unternehmensinvestitionen wachsen 2022 nur gedämpft. Ergebnisse der WIFO-Investitionsbefragung vom Frühjahr 2022

Abstract

Die Ergebnisse der WIFO-Investitionsbefragung lassen für 2022 eine gedämpfte Ausweitung der Investitionen erwarten. Das Investitionswachstum dürfte dabei in der Sachgütererzeugung stärker zurückgehen als im Dienstleistungssektor. Auf Branchenebene zeigt sich ein gemischtes Bild. Innerhalb der Sachgütererzeugung planen lediglich die Hersteller nichtdauerhafter Konsumgüter Investitionsausweitungen, in den Dienstleistungen die Erbringer von Finanz- und Versicherungsdienstleistungen sowie Beherbergungs- und Gastronomieunternehmen. In den sonstigen wirtschaftlichen Dienstleistungen, in der Information und Kommunikation und im Grundstücks- und Wohnungswesen dürfte sich die Investitionsdynamik dagegen deutlich abschwächen. Großunternehmen werden das Investitionswachstum voraussichtlich stabilisieren, während kleine und mittlere Unternehmen ihre Investitionen stark einschränken. Die Abschwächung des Investitionswachstums zeigt sich in sämtlichen Unterkategorien (Ausrüstungs-, Infrastruktur- und immaterielle Anlageinvestitionen). Für Österreichs Gesamtwirtschaft rechnet das WIFO für 2022 mit einem Anstieg der Bruttoanlageinvestitionen um 3,5% (real).
