Neuerlicher Lockdown verzögert Konjunkturerholung in Österreich. Prognose für 2021 bis 2023

Abstract

Die kräftige Konjunkturerholung in Österreich im Frühjahr und Sommer 2021 wird im 2. Halbjahr durch den neuerlichen Lockdown, anhaltende Lieferengpässe und hohe Rohstoffpreise gebremst. 2022 dürfte sich die Wirtschaft nach der Aufhebung der Einschränkungen rasch wieder erholen. Aufgrund der schrittweisen Auflösung der Hemmnisse wird für das Gesamtjahr 2022 ein kräftiges Wachstum erwartet. 2023 schwenkt die österreichische Wirtschaft dann auf einen moderaten Wachstumskurs ein. Der Arbeitsmarkt entwickelt sich im Prognosezeitraum günstig. Die Inflation wird auch 2022 hoch bleiben.
