Schwache Einmalerläge dämpfen 2016 Prämieneinnahmen der Privatversicherungswirtschaft

Abstract

Das Volumen der Einmalerläge halbierte sich 2016 in der klassischen Lebensversicherung nahezu. Die positiven Einkommensimpulse der Steuerreform wurden vom niedrigen Zinsniveau überkompensiert, und die Privathaushalte scheuten vor Veranlagungen mit langer Bindungsfrist zurück. Auf der Angebotsseite waren die Versicherer weniger bereit, langfristige Garantien zu übernehmen. Dadurch lagen die Prämieneinnahmen in der Lebensversicherung um 9% unter dem Vorjahreswert. Das Prämienvolumen der gesamten Versicherungswirtschaft sank um 1,8%. Das robuste Wachstum der privaten Krankenzusatzversicherung (+4,7%) und die Erholung der Schaden- und Unfallversicherung (+1,7%) verhinderten den weiteren Rückgang der Versicherungsdurchdringung auf 4,9% nicht. Die Prognosen für die Jahre 2017 und 2018 erwarten eine abgeschwächte Fortsetzung dieser Entwicklung. Erste Erfahrungen mit Solvency II deckten von Land zu Land abweichende Auslegungen des Regelwerkes auf. Im Stresstest 2016 erwies sich der Bestand an Solvenzkapital österreichischer Versicherer als ausreichend hoch.
