Wirtschaftsentwicklung der Industrieregionen auch 2011 überdurchschnittlich

Abstract

Die rege Nachfrage nach Investitionsgütern und Exportwaren begünstigte auch 2011 die Wirtschaft in Bundesländern mit hohem Industrieanteil gegenüber stärker dienstleistungsorientierten Regionen. Das Wachstum war daher in Süd- und Westösterreich höher als in der Ostregion. Ein zunächst markantes West-Süd-Ost-Gefälle des Wachstums wurde mit dem Auslaufen der Exportkonjunktur im 2. Halbjahr von einem Ost-West-Muster abgelöst. Die insgesamt höhere Dynamik im 1. Halbjahr blieb jedoch für das Jahresergebnis bestimmend.
