Betriebliche Altersvorsorge in Österreich 2007

Abstract

Die Verbreitung von Betriebspensionen ist in Österreich im internationalen Vergleich niedrig und über mehrere Durchführungswege verteilt. Von den drei bedeutendsten Durchführungswegen Pensionskassen, Gruppenlebensversicherungen und direkte Leistungszusagen sind nur die Daten der Pensionskassen gut erfasst. Eine Einschätzung der anderen Durchführungswege ist auf Unternehmensbefragungen angewiesen, wie sie das WIFO bereits dreimal durchgeführt hat. Die Umfrageergebnisse zeigen eine Ausweitung von Betriebspensionen in der Privatwirtschaft. Die Umsetzung von Gehaltsreformen im öffentlichen Dienst verstärkte die Verbreitung der Betriebspensionen deutlich. Allerdings sind die durchschnittlichen Beitragszahlungen der Neuverträge niedrig, sodass in Zukunft verhältnismäßig geringe Zusatzpensionen zu erwarten sind.
