Maßnahmen zur Konjunkturstabilisierung zeigen erste Wirkung. Prognose für 2009 und 2010

Abstract

Der weltweite Konjunktureinbruch schlägt sich deutlich in der heimischen Wirtschaftsentwicklung nieder. Aufgrund des massiven Rückgangs von Export und Investitionen wird das österreichische BIP 2009 real um 3,4% schrumpfen. Lediglich die Konsumnachfrage wirkt stabilisierend. Die internationalen Maßnahmen zur Konjunkturstabilisierung zeigen erste Wirkungen. Im Euro-Raum sollte die Wirtschaft ab der Jahresmitte in eine Stagnationsphase eintreten. Dies gilt auch für die heimische Wirtschaft; im Jahr 2010 sollte ein geringfügiges Wachstum von 0,5% möglich sein. Die Belastung des Arbeitsmarktes wird auch noch im kommenden Jahr spürbar sein, die Beschäftigung wird sich bei gleichzeitigem Anstieg der Arbeitslosigkeit anhaltend verringern.
