Privatversicherungswirtschaft expandiert auch 2007 nur schwach

Abstract

Nachdem das Prämienvolumen bereits im Vorjahr nur wenig gewachsen war, dämpfte die Stagnation der Lebensversicherung 2007 die Umsatzentwicklung der Privatversicherungswirtschaft 2007 neuerlich. Dementsprechend ging die Versicherungsdurchdringung zurück. Die Struktur der Prämieneinnahmen verschob sich von der Lebensversicherung zur Kranken- und Schaden-Unfallversicherung. Die beginnende Subprime-Krise verursachte vor allem in der Lebensversicherung einen überdurchschnittlichen Abschreibungsbedarf und hinterließ dadurch bereits erste Spuren im Finanzergebnis. Vor diesem Hintergrund schrumpfte die Rendite auf versicherungswirtschaftliche Kapitalanlagen.
