Anhaltende Hochkonjunktur, aber zunehmende Risken

Abstract

Die österreichische Wirtschaft wuchs laut WIFO-Schätzung im II. Quartal gegenüber dem Vorquartal um 1% und gegenüber dem Vorjahr um 3,8%. Die Konjunktur hat damit – anders als im Durchschnitt der EU – weiter an Dynamik gewonnen. Investitionen und Warenexport sind die tragenden Säulen der Hochkonjunktur, der private Konsum zeigt dagegen kaum Anzeichen einer Belebung. Die Nettorealeinkommen je Arbeitnehmer stagnieren, die Steigerung der Kaufkraft geht vor allem auf die starke Ausweitung der Beschäftigung zurück. Für das 2. Halbjahr deuten die Turbulenzen auf den Finanzmärkten auf erhöhte internationale Risken hin.
