Konjunkturhoch dauert an – deutliche Besserung auf dem Arbeitsmarkt. Prognose für 2007 und 2008

Abstract

Auch heuer wird die österreichische Wirtschaft kräftig expandieren. Nachdem +3,2% im Vorjahr wird das heimische BIP real um 2007 3% zunehmen. Die verstärkte Investitionsnachfrage gleicht das Nachlassen der Exportdynamik aus. Der Konsum zieht an, wächst aber nicht der Konjunkturlage entsprechend. Die gute Wirtschaftsentwicklung wirkt äußerst positiv auf den Arbeitsmarkt: Die Beschäftigung steigt kräftig, und die Arbeitslosigkeit verringert sich. 2008 ist mit einer Verlangsamung des Wirtschaftswachstums zu rechnen.
