Internationale Lohnstückkostenposition 2006 verbessert

Abstract

In der internationalen Arbeitskostenhierarchie liegt Österreich an 11. Stelle. Am teuersten ist die Arbeitsstunde in Norwegen, Belgien, der Schweiz, Schweden und Deutschland. 2006 kostete die Beschäftigtenstunde in Österreichs Sachgütererzeugung 29,15 €. Nach einer deutlichen Verbesserung in der zweiten Hälfte der neunziger Jahre hatten zwischen 2003 und 2005 geringe Produktivitätszuwächse und die Aufwertung des Euro eine Verschlechterung der österreichischen Lohnstückkostenposition in Relation zum Durchschnitt der Handelspartner zur Folge. 2006 verbesserte sie sich erstmals wieder, und zwar um fast 2%.
