2005 internationale Lohnstückkostenposition unverändert

Abstract

In der internationalen Arbeitskostenhierarchie lag Österreich 2005 an 9. Stelle. Am teuersten ist die Arbeitsstunde in Norwegen, Dänemark und Deutschland. 2005 kostete die Arbeiterstunde in Österreichs Sachgütererzeugung 21,40 €, um 1¾% weniger als im EU-Durchschnitt. Von Mitte der neunziger Jahre bis 2002 hatte sich die relative Lohnstückkostenposition der österreichischen Sachgütererzeugung durch günstige Währungsrelationen, unterdurchschnittlichen Lohnauftrieb und hohe Produktivitätszuwächse kontinuierlich um rund 20% verbessert. Weil die Produktivitätszuwächse nachließen und der Euro aufwertete, erhöhten sich die Lohnstückkosten seither in Relation zum Durchschnitt der Handelspartner um rund 6%. Zuletzt (2005) blieb die internationale Lohnstückkostenposition der Sachgütererzeugung unverändert.
