Die Wiener "Creative Industries" im Spannungsfeld von Technologie- und Kulturpolitik

Abstract

Die "Creative Industries" umfassen eine Vielzahl sehr heterogener Wirtschaftszweige, die an der Schnittstelle zwischen Kultur und Kommerz angesiedelt sind. Insbesondere in Ballungsgebieten mit ausgeprägt urbanem und künstlerischem Milieu knüpfen sich große Hoffnungen an diese Branchen als Wirtschaftsfaktor und Arbeitgeber. Durch ein hohes Maß an Interdisziplinarität mit den traditionellen Wirtschaftsbereichen ist die dynamische Entwicklung der Kreativwirtschaft sehr stark an die Einführung neuer Technologien gekoppelt bzw. an die Fähigkeit der einzelnen Unternehmen, sich diese anzueignen.
