Konjunkturerholung verlangsamt

Abstract

Zu Jahresbeginn entwickelten sich Exporte und Sachgütererzeugung noch günstig, die Zuwachsraten werden jedoch tendenziell geringer. In der Bauwirtschaft verbesserte sich die Auftragslage merklich. Hingegen verlief die Entwicklung im Handel enttäuschend. Trotz der positiven Einkommenswirkungen der Steuerreform stagnieren die realen Umsätze. Dies ist die Folge eines starken Preisauftriebs, der zum einen auf die Energieverteuerung, zum anderen auf hausgemachte Faktoren (Wohnungsaufwand, Tabaksteuer, Gesundheitsreform) zurückgeht. Die Zahl der Arbeitslosen liegt wegen der mäßigen Konjunktur und des anhaltenden Anstiegs des Arbeitskräfteangebotes weiterhin über dem Niveau des Vorjahres.
