Abstract

Österreichs Warenexporte nahmen im III. Quartal wieder zu. Aufgrund des Rückgangs des Euro-Kurses und des starken Wachstums der Weltwirtschaft sind die Unternehmen auch bezüglich der künftigen Exportentwicklung optimistischer. Der private Konsum bleibt verhalten und reagiert nur verzögert auf die positiven Einkommenseffekte der Steuerreform. Umfragen deuten auf eine Verbesserung der Auftrags- und Geschäftslage sowie auf ein steigendes Konsumentenvertrauen im Euro-Raum hin. Auch für Österreich zeigen die Umfragen in der Sachgütererzeugung seit dem Sommer eine Aufwärtstendenz.
