Export als Konjunkturmotor. Prognose für 2004 und 2005

Abstract

Die Verbesserung der Weltkonjunktur strahlt 2004 auch auf die europäische Wirtschaft aus. Dank kräftiger Exportsteigerungen wächst die Wirtschaft in Österreich wie im Euro-Raum heuer um 1,9%. Im Jahr 2005 wird zwar die Zunahme des Welthandels an Schwung verlieren, in Europa dürfte jedoch die Inlandsnachfrage stärker zum Wachstum beitragen. Für Österreich wird 2005 infolge der positiven Effekte der Steuerreform mit einem BIP-Wachstum von 2,5% gerechnet. Die hohen Rohölpreise bedeuten ein Risiko für den weiteren Konjunkturverlauf.
