Abstract

Gemäß dem vorläufigen Gebarungserfolg 1997 wurde das Nettodefizit auf 2,6% des BIP reduziert und damit das Konsolidierungsziel erreicht. Die Budgetkonsolidierung hat nahezu alle Ausgabenkomponenten (in unterschiedlichem Ausmaß) erfaßt. Die zusätzlichen Einnahmen aus den Maßnahmen des Strukturanpassungsgesetzes ließen die Einnahmenquote von 25,7% (1996) auf 25,9% im Jahre 1997 steigen. Im Voranschlag 1999 wird die Defizitquote auf dem Niveau von 1997 stabilisiert. Die Ausgabenquote sinkt weiter (auf 27,0%), die Einnahmenquote wird auf 24,4% gesenkt. Die Ausgabenstruktur zeigt eine Verlagerung zu den Transfers.
