Erhebliche Verschlechterung der Leistungsbilanz

Abstract

Die Belebung der Industriekonjunktur dürfte nach den vorliegenden Umfrageergebnissen anhalten. Sie wird von der verhaltenen Konjunkturerholung in Westeuropa getragen. Sehr schwach entwickelt sich hingegen die Inlandsnachfrage. Die Netto-Masseneinkommen sind in realer Rechnung rückläufig, und nur eine weitere Verringerung der Sparquote erlaubt eine Stabilisierung der Konsumausgaben. Dennoch hat sich der Leistungsbilanzsaldo im I. Quartal gegenüber dem Vorjahr deutlich verschlechtert. Eine genauere Analyse wird durch das Fehlen detaillierter Außenhandelsdaten erschwert. Die leichte Konjunkturbelebung zeigt – zusammen mit wirtschaftspolitischen Maßnahmen – erste positive Effekte auf dem Arbeitsmarkt.
