Belebung der Wirtschaft stabilisiert Arbeitsmarkt

Abstract

Die Exportbelebung läßt heuer auch die Sachgüterproduktion kräftig expandieren. Sie wurde im I. Quartal gegenüber dem Vorjahr (teilweise arbeitstägig bereinigt) um 5½% gesteigert. Die Produktionserwartungen haben sich bis zum IV. Quartal laufend verbessert; deshalb ist im gesamten Jahr 1997 mit einer kräftigen Ausweitung zu rechnen. Der Konjunkturaufschwung trägt heuer dazu bei, den Arbeitsmarkt zu stabilisieren. Die Zahl der Arbeitsplätze, besonders für Teilzeitkräfte, stieg im Herbst (+½%), die Arbeitslosigkeit ging aber noch nicht zurück.
