Divergenz regionaler Konvergenzclubs. Dynamische Wirtschaftsregionen in Österreich

Abstract

In Österreich wirken gleichzeitig Kräfte, die die regionalen Disparitäten verschärfen, und solche, die sie abschwächen. Dabei hat sich in den achtziger Jahren der Vorsprung der Ballungsräume mit hochqualifizierten Arbeitskräften deutlich ausgeweitet. Diese Regionen werden künftig durch den wachsenden Einfluß der technologischen Wettbewerbsfähigkeit noch mehr an Bedeutung gewinnen.
