Versicherungswirtschaft weiter im Aufschwung. Die österreichische Privatversicherungswirtschaft 1992/93

Abstract

Die österreichische Privatversicherungswirtschaft stand 1992 im Zeichen der Anpassung an die EWR-konformen Regeln zur Rechnungslegung. 1992 konnte mit einer Steigerung der Bruttoprämien um etwa 10% ein erfolgreiches Jahr verzeichnet werden. Erste Hochrechnungen für 1993 deuten eine weitere Verbesserung an. Dem stand eine Erhöhung der Aufwendungen für Versicherungsfälle um 6,2% gegenüber. Eine Ausnahme von dieser freundlichen Entwicklung sind die privaten Krankenversicherungen: Nach wie vor leidet dieser Bereich unter den hohen Preissteigerungen für Gesundheitsleistungen.
