Abstract

Seit Mitte der achtziger Jahre nimmt die Zahl der Fusionen und Beteiligungen in der österreichischen Industrie deutlich zu. Westintegration und Ostöffnung beschleunigen diese Tendenz. Zunehmend bieten Berater, Organisatoren und Financiers ihre Dienstleistungen für diesen Bereich an. Der Höhepunkt der Fusionswelle dürfte noch nicht überschritten sein. Entwicklungen in Europa erfordern auch von Österreich verstärkte Regulierungsaktivitäten in diesem Bereich.
