Der Agrarsektor Osteuropas im Umbruch. Folgen für die österreichische Landwirtschaft und Ernährungswirtschaft

Abstract

Die Sozialisierung der Landwirtschaft in Osteuropa ist gescheitert. Eine Reform nach marktwirtschaftlichen Grundsätzen könnte die Agrarproduktion rasch steigern; auch Exportüberschüsse sind möglich. Der österreichischen Landwirtschaft und Ernährungswirtschaft bringt die Ostöffnung zusätzlichen Wettbewerb. Für die Lebensmittelindustrie bieten die osteuropäischen Märkte längerfristig interessante Chancen.
