Lebhafte Nachfrage nach Energie

Abstract

Für 1990 ist mit einer kräftigen Zunahme der Energienachfrage zu rechnen. In der ersten Jahreshälfte hat der Verbrauch stark zugenommen, weil wegen der Trockenheit viel mehr Brennstoffe für die Stromerzeugung benötigt wurden; in der zweiten Jahreshälfte hatte der steile Anstieg der Erdölpreise bisher hektische Lagerkäufe zur Folge. In den ersten sechs Monaten ist vor allem die Nachfrage nach Erdgas stürmisch gewachsen, wegen des forcierten Einsatzes der Kohlekraftwerke auch die Nachfrage nach Stein- und Braunkohle. Die Energierechnung verteuerte sich deutlich. Aus dem Ausland mußte viel mehr Energie zu höheren Preisen bezogen werden als im Vorjahr.
