Regional unausgeglichene Konjunktur mit zwei Wachstumspolen. Die Wirtschaft in den Bundesländern im II. Quartal 1990

Abstract

Die günstige Entwicklung der österreichischen Konjunktur verlief im II. Quartal 1990 regional unausgeglichen. Motor der Wirtschaftsentwicklung war nach wie vor die Industrie, aber auch andere Sektoren gewannen zunehmend an Dynamik. Im Osten befanden sich die Wachstumsschwerpunkte der Industriekonjunktur und der Energiegewinnung, im Westen begünstigte der späte Ostertermin die Tourismusnachfrage außerordentlich. Die genannten Komponenten bewirkten in Niederösterreich, der Steiermark sowie in Tirol und Vorarlberg einen Vorsprung im Wirtschaftswachstum, während Oberösterreich, Salzburg, Wien und vor allem Kärnten hinter dem gesamtösterreichischen Wachstum der Brutto-Wertschöpfung (ohne Land- und Forstwirtschaft +4,5%) zurückblieben.
