Abstract

The challenges to higher economic education and economic science are extremely complex and many in number. Their awareness and real evaluation is a prerequisite for finding the key to solving the complex and multifaceted issues of higher education reform. Reform is not an end in itself. It is a means of increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of the national economy. Therefore, the efforts of the academic community must increasingly focus on education and science that support the development of a research-based economy.
