The methodology of implementing the ERP system in a municipal enterprise

Abstract

The paper has been devoted to the methodology of implementing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in a municipal enterprise. It consists of five parts. After a brief introduction, the exemplary municipal enterprise and its information requirements have been characterized. The next part presents the methodology of how to implement the ERP system in such an organization. Then, it is presented how Business Intelligence (BI) can be implemented in an enterprise to enable the manager to obtain complete information about the firm. The paper ends with short conclusions.
