Abstract

In my plenary talk will give a brief introduction to Participatory Design and why I believe it to be relevant for any technology development, and Human-Computer Interaction in particular. Before this background I will both outline my academic involvement in the field in Germany and will present three participatory design research products: Sensing Home, Loaded Dice, Living Lab Miteinander as to outline how to involve future users into technology development.
