Abstract

Regional development focuses on the operation of different mechanisms and instruments in order to implement different structural and sectoral policies of the state in the same territory. The established regulatory environment regulates public relations related to the implementation of regional development policy. Strategic regional planning is the tool through which successful coordination and integration of sectoral and structural policies applied in the regions of the country can be achieved. The report analyses changes in the specialized legal framework aimed at better focusing policy objectives and improving the structural and conceptual elements of strategic documents. Traditional research approaches and methods are integrated in the study: historical-chronological approach, structural-functional analysis, expert evaluation, inductive and deductive method.
