Abstract

In the present study, the author reviews the possibilities of applying mediation as an extrajudicial way to overcome and solve conflicts and disputes arising in the social sphere. After researching the applicable legal regulations and the possibilities for mediation to be used in the field of social services and activities, it is concluded that it successfully leads to the social inclusion of users in active life. The author considers that the topic is very extensive and not sufficiently studied, and the same is a dissertable topic, for which he will limit himself only to highlighting the possibilities and prospects for the successful use of mediation in the social sphere. On this basis, he presents proposals for improving the promotion of the Institute of Mediation, as well as formulates proposals for inclusion in the educational courses at universities preparing specialists in the social sphere to introduce a study discipline in the course for the Bachelor of Social Sciences and Humanities, and developed the master's degree "Social Mediation".
