Abstract

The region is gradually being formed as a relatively independent economic entity entering into a competitive relationship both at interregional level and on the global market. Regional investment policy is shaped by the impact of many processes occurring within the regions themselves. The formation of a favorable investment climate and increasing the investment attractiveness of the region is a strategic task facing the development of the regional economy. This in turn leads to greater competitiveness of individual regions in a globalizing world.
