The Directions of State Policy in the Electricity Sector Reform in Ukraine

Abstract

Taking into account the world experience ways to reform the wholesale electricity market in Ukraine are substantiated. The priority areas are defined, among them the transition to a model bilateral contracts with the balancing market, privatization of energy, improving procedures of prices and tariffs setting.
