Abstract

The essence and meaning of mechanisms of state regulation of social and economic regional development in a globalizing economy are determing. The article reveals. The role of state regulation of regional development as purposeful activity of public authorities from study of internal opportunities of region is established. The essence of the notion in a regional development strategy. The essence of the definition from regional development strategy is determing.
