Abstract

Stadiul actual de dezvoltare al Uniunii Europene este corespunzător derulării proceselor de armonizare necesare realizării stării de echilibru macroeconomic – etapă necesară dezvoltării ulterioare către stadiul de sustenabilitate economică. Toate conceptele şi planurile utilizate în acest scop au fost stabilite în concordanţă cu aspecte normale de dezvoltare economică a statelor ce formează uniunea şi ale evoluţiei relaţiilor economice internaţionale. La acest moment, aspectul principal al evoluţiei economice internaţionale este cel marcat de primul stadiu de evoluţie a crizei economice mondiale, urmată de numeroase efecte mai mult sau mai puţin predictibile. Principala problemă actuală, atât pentru Uniunea Europeană, cât şi pentru fiecare stat membru, este aceea de luare în calcul şi analiză a problematicii complexe determinate de criza economică internaţională, în direcţia identificării căilor şi instrumentelor utile pentru prevenirea sau diminuarea efectelor.
