Abstract

Investigamos os efeitos da desaceleração econômica do período 2015-2018 sobre a desconcentração territorial da indústria no Brasil, bem como identificamos quais estruturas setoriais são territorialmente reforçadas ou enfraquecidas. As indústrias geradoras de mais alto valor agregado, produtividade e salários, que nas últimas três décadas têm reduzido participação na estrutura produtiva brasileira, foram ainda mais negativamente impactadas na recessão recente. As conclusões apontam para o reforço de um padrão de desconcentração espúria, no qual porções desenvol-vidas e industrializadas do território e com maior geração de valor agregado são mais afetadas – perderam mais empregos industriais e mais salários – que as áreas especializadas em commodities agrominerais caracterizadas por baixos níveis de produtividade e valor agrega
