Abstract

The specialized literature associates the short-term macroeconomics of open economies with Robert Alexander Mundell and Rudiger Wilhelm Dornbusch However, were they the first who addressed this issue? If not, what was their contribution? This article answers these questions at the same time that other cases are studied within the economic analysis
