Re-engineering and the dynamic of systems

Abstract

Uno de los temas actuales en el campo estadístico y gerencial es el tema de la Reingeniería(RI) y del Mejoramiento Continuo(MC). La Reingeniería se entronca con los conceptos de Calidad Total y puede verse como una parte del proceso de mejoramiento continuo. Por otra parte, la Dinámica de Sistemas es un enfoque que, entre otras cosas, estudia las propiedades de retroacción de los sistemas dinámicos. En este artículo se plantea la relación entre la Dinámica de Sistemas, como metodología de análisis, y la Reingeniería, implementando dicha relación a través de lenguajes de simulación dinámica específicos. Se describen, además, los pasos necesarios para modelar los procesos de mejoramiento continuo, luego de explicar sus características más relevantes.
