Abstract

Este artículo hace énfasis en el presupuesto público, pero no margina al presupuesto privado, porque todo debería estar coordinado. En otras palabras, se propone una mejor coordinación de las políticas macroeconómicas para que los gobiernos logren mejores resultados en beneficio de la sociedad. No obstante, el presupuesto público ejecutado en 1992 en la economía nacional -incluso el presupuesto del año 1993- han demostrado la vulnerabilidad de las finanzas públicas venezolanas. De ahí la importancia que adquiere, en la actualidad, la aplicación y puesta en práctica de una verdadera reforma fiscal integral.
