Abstract

Constituye un alto honor para mí, asistir como Rector de nuestra Ilustre Universidad de Los Andes, a esta sesión solemne de la Academia Nacional de Ciencias Económicas con motivo del Trigésimo Aniversario de la creación de la Facultad de Economía y así mismo al alto reconocimiento que le tributa el Colegio de Economistas del Estado Mérida al Dr. Domingo Felipe Maza Zavala, distinguiéndolo como Miembro Honorario de esta prestigiosa organización gremial. El honor para mí será mayor esta noche cuando por primera vez como Rector, otorgue un Título Universitario, y ese corresponda al Doctorado Honoris Causa en Economía, al Dr. Domingo Felipe Maza Zavala.
