The equality of the university contribution and the faculty contribution to the retired funding system for faculty

Abstract

En la mayoría de los sistemas de jubilaciones del Profesorado Universitario, implementados por algunas Universidades, se contempla que sean iguales el aporte de la Universidad y la contribución del Profesor al respectivo Fondo, esto es, la Universidad contribuye con la misma cantidad que lo hace el Profesor. Si bien esta situación no está, en la mayoría de los casos, expresamente establecida en el Estatuto o Reglamento respectivo, en la realidad se hace de esa forma, fijándose, en general, en 2% del sueldo del Profesor el aporte de la Universidad y en igual porcentaje, la contribución del mismo, por lo que la suma que en definitiva recibe el Fondo por concepto de contribución o aporte por un Profesor cualquiera de un determinado colectivo profesoral, es del 4% del sueldo de ese Profesor.
