Abstract

The article analyzes the changes in the structure of agricultural products production in Volhynia in 1990-2016. It has been established that the population's businesses, despite the rise of large commodity productions in recent years, remains the main producers of both plant and animal products. It has been revealed that in 2016 compared to 2010 the share of material costs increased within the structure of operating expenses of agricultural enterprises, which negatively affects the level of competitiveness of agricultural products. It has been substantiated that the main priority for the agrarian sector development in Volhynia under the current conditions is to increase the level of integrity of development of both agriculture and food production and processing industries.
