Abstract

It has been proved that the Ukrainian agriculture is not balanced and is characterized by a number of sectoral bends. This is due to the development of export-oriented types of agricultural production which a limited number of countries in international specialization are willing to develop for the reason that they cause exhaustion of soils. The main trends of plant and animal source food production, the dynamics of organic and mineral fertilizers application, the exports of grain, and cattle stock at agricultural enterprises as well as private farms have been analysed. The directions to minimize structural disparities in the agrarian sector based on prospects of establishment of small and middle agrarian businesses have been elaborated.
