Abstract

In the article the negative trends of the Ukrainian banking system functioning caused by the crisis phenomena are considered. The analysis of credit and investment portfolio and resource potential of Ukrainian banks is carried out. Main problems of this process are identified. Influence of the banks' resource potential upon credit and investment portfolio is estimated by constructing multivariate correlation-regression models. The proposals for the government regulation of the bank's credit and investment activities are given.
